Council of Europe

Council of Europe is an organization too complex to be described in several sentences. It is based in Strasbourg (France), now covers virtually the entire European continent, with its 47 member countries except for Belorussia. Its basic values are based on forming a tolerant and civilized society within each organization member state. Based on these, the activity is aimed at finding solutions to such problems as: terrorism, organized crime and corruption, cybercrime, bioethics and cloning, violence against children and women, and trafficking in human beings.
